A professional institute connecting Sri Lanka’s food science academics, researchers, and industry needed a website built from scratch to present its work, leadership, and annual events online.
About the Project
IFSTSL (Institute of Food Science & Technology Sri Lanka) brings together academics, scientists, and food industry professionals to strengthen Sri Lanka’s food processing sector and help it meet global standards. The institute runs an annual research conference (FoodTechno), publishes the Foodiflash newsletter, and partners in industry exhibitions like ProFood.
The Challenge
The institute had no existing web presence to introduce its council and leadership, explain its mission to prospective members and industry partners, or give its annual events and publications a permanent home online.
Our Solution
Fixerlinks built a full new WordPress website from the ground up, covering an About Us section, a dedicated Council of IFSTSL leadership page, and structured sections for the institute’s training seminars, FoodTechno research sessions, and newsletter.
The Result
IFSTSL now has a professional website that documents its leadership, mission, and annual activities, giving the institute a proper online presence to reach members, researchers, and industry partners.
